Welcome to the official website of Small Business Enterprise Centre. Small Business Enterprise Centre in cooperation with foreign donors helped build a better future for small businesses in Samoa.
The Samoa Small Business Enterprise Centre (SBEC) was established in 1994 to encourage the development of small business in Samoa. We provide assistance to small businesses in Samoa through training and advisory services. Our vision is to make a better life for all through business opportunities.
Our mission is to lead a sustainable small business growth and development
We can help small businesses which:
employ up to 5 people; use cash Flow accounting and have little documentation; are sole proprietorships, partnerships or cooperatives; are not able to afford business advisory and training services; are anywhere in Samoa but with a focus on rural areas outside Apia Urban Area; and are only accessing credit for the first or second time.
Donors
Foreign donors supporting the Small Business Loan Guarantee Scheme include:
- ADB: The Asian Development Bank. ADB is a multilateral development financial institution owned by 67 members, 48 from the region and 19 from other parts of the globe.
- NZAID: The New Zealand Government's international aid and development agency.
